Newmarket Wins SCM Fundraiser Tournament!!!
This past Friday was an evening filled with soccer for a good cause. Newmarket United came out on top for our 1st fundraiser tournament and Michael Paolo was awarded the top goal scorer award, scoring 6 goals in the tournament. On top of some great soccer, we were able to raise $1,195 for the Chile Earthquake which will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross. We would like to thank all the participants for participating for a good cause. We would also like to thank the volunteers who made this all possible. We were very happy with the amount of participation through players and volunteers and we will try to set up many more fundraiser tournaments in the future.
